Below are the most notable NBA players born on Nov 30. 

Paul Westphal (1950):

Westphal is one of the few guys who was successful as a player and a coach throughout his NBA career. Westy was selected 10th overall in the 1972 NBA Draft and broke out in 1975 when he joined the Phoenix Suns. Westphal made six All-Star appearances over the next seven seasons, making his final one in his debut season with the Seattle SuperSonics in 1980. During those seven years, Westphal averaged 22.1 points, 2.3 rebounds, 5.5 assists and 1.7 steals per game. He retired from playing in 1984 and became a head coach for the Suns in 1992. Westphal won the Western Conference Finals behind a 62-20 record in his first season as their head coach. He coached for 10 seasons and was inducted into the Hall-of-Fame in 2019. 

Jim Chones (1949):

Bunny spent his first two seasons in the ABA with the New York Nets and Carolina Cougars, finishing fifth in Rookie of the Year voting in 1972. He joined the Cleveland Cavaliers in 1974 and received MVP votes in his first two years with the Cavs. That was Chones’ best stretch of his career, averaging 14.3 points, 9.5 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 1.1 blocks in his five years with Cleveland. He closed his career by playing for the Los Angeles Lakers and Washington Bullets, retiring in 1983. Chones biggest accomplishment was winning a championship with the Lakers in 1980.
